The museum offers a permanent exhibition of the works of the painter Paul Gauguin (replicas). Outside the museum hall is a reconstruction of the "pleasure house", where the artist lived, whose main exhibition wall is covered with carved wooden panels, reproducing the original work of Paul Gauguin, as well as an arts and crafts center. This cultural center located in Atuona honors the memory of the famous painter through an evocative space and also offers a place of artistic creation and cultural exchange via resident artists.
